Casual Winter Shoes

Casual footwear for winter seems to be a bit of an oxymoron.

Cold winter months bring about visions of huge boots that will keep precious feet and toes feeling cosy and also keep the chill of cold air outside.

But the other picture you think of is the plain hassle of pulling on a pair of full-sized boots. Getting boots opened up enough to get your foot in, then pulling up meters of laces till the boots fit just right.

Alright, so what if you do not need so much hassle? Just imagine you are going to your neighborhood shop for a little treat, or simply going to the kitchen. If you are indoors you just might put up with the cold and go quickly to your kitchen. Of course, if you must go outside you may just think twice and forget about the idea all together.

Well, now there is another choice.

Crocs have their traditional clog and given it a slight twist. They added a bit and taken away a bit to produce a shoe that's ideal for when the temperature falls.

The biggest downside to standard Crocs is that they have lots of ventilation holes. Accepted, they are perfect for the warmer months. They give a great deal of fresh air that help to keep your feet very dry and comfortable. No need for fancy materials that "breathe", holes don't need to breathe, they just give a warm and hardy welcome to the chilly air.

Well, in the winter, we want the chilly air to keep out and for the warm air to stay in. Crocs Blitzen sorts out this issue by removing the ventilation holes in the front part of the shoe. Some holes a little bit towards the back are retained, but only a couple. These remaining holes help to provide a small amount of ventilation. The closed front keeps chills and snow out. Keeping some of the ventilation holes does mean that if you're really into tiny charms, you can include some Jibbitz, Crocs' trademarked doohickeys that attach to the holes. You can get Jibbitz like superman as well as a full range of other adorable things.

The other thing is the cold sensation of the material Crocs are made of. Really now, which would anyone rather cuddle up with? A cuddly stuffed bear or a punching bag? Well, to get a layer of protection between your feet and the Croslite material, a piece of synthetic fleece has been put in. A thin layer of protection will keep your feet just that bit more comfortable.

Typically used at home during the winter months, it's also easy to take these comfortable shoes outside on a quick trip. Very easy to put on and comfortable enough to keep your feet and toes warm, Crocs Blitzen offer you something between a slip-on and a full-fledged boot. A suitable alternative to the former kind plus a easy substitute for the latter one, in a pinch.

Crocs actually cannot be beaten being a great all round comfortable shoe. Find out about all the nitty gritty particulars on Crocs Blitzen at our Crocs Blitzen site.
