Having made the choice of the most important part of your ensemble which is your gown, you now need to choose the accessories. The aim of wedding accessories is that they complement and complete the look you want to achieve. Five beautiful wedding accessories include the headpiece, gloves, shoes, hosiery, jewelry and others. There are an endless styles to choose from.
One of the top five accessories is wedding headbands. This can be a veil with a tiara, halo or crown. It should accentuate your dress and not draw attention away from it. First, decide on the hairstyle you will be wearing, discuss it with your hairdresser and have sessions where you actually try the headpiece with your chosen hairstyle.

As you think about shoes, consider the hosiery. It should work with the gown and the shoes. Make a balanced choice meaning that if the shoes have no adornment, go for hosiery that is patterned or that is has adornments. Decorated shoes should be worn with plain hosiery. The most common bridal colors are white or shades of it like ivory. Nude, which gives the bride the appearance of flawless legs can also be worn.
The other key item is jewelry. To avoid overwhelming the dress, go for low key and minimalist rather than large or loud. Again, the gown and the kind of wedding you are having should guide your choice. For an informal wedding such one being done at a garden or beach, you can push the envelope a bit more than for formal wedding where pieces may be quite elaborate and refined. For such events, pearls are a favorite.
Gloves complete the picture. Long ones look best with gowns that have no straps or sleeves while short ones are becoming with short gowns. They should work well with the gown in terms of color and the embellishments on it which should correspond with those on the dress. When making wedding accessories selections, it is best to get as many of them as possible from the same spot. It is match easier to match them than if they are being sourced from different places.
