How To Set Up Your Pop Up Displays To Make Sure They Have the Most Striking Effect

by Katy Quinn(13)

If something has been around for 30 years then you would expect it to have faded into the background or become tired and no longer used, this is not the case with pop up displays. They are as popular now as they ever were. Due to the number of trade shows that occur these days pop up displays have become a vital visual tool. They owe their popularity to their portability, affordability, and the ease with which they can be set up.

As it is with all displays, pop up displays need to be set up in a way that maximizes the good effect on visitors. It is very important that you place your pop up display in a good location at an exhibition. You can measure the effectiveness of your display by the amount of people who pass through your stall to make enquiries. This ensures that a lot of people coming to the trade show notice it more than they do any of the others. Once a good location has been acquired, the design should be arrived at which is suitable for both the products being advertised and the location identified prior. If you have a corner spot then you should tailor your displays to accommodate this.

The most disappointing thing to the visitors of a display is poor lighting. Effective lighting will prove invaluable. Try and not get any glare but aim to get as much light on your display as possible. When people can see a display clearly, they take notice of what is on offer so the importance of lighting cannot be overstated.

Due to the fact there is little space available at trade shows, you must make sure you have made the most of what is available to you. Consequently, exhibitors have to come up with creative ways in order to make good use of the space they have. You should take a a great deal of care when setting up your stand after your pop up displays have been erected. Make sure you have nothing cluttering up vital space and that your whole display and message can be seen clearly. This means you must be very organised and prepared. To make sure you are displaying your business in the best light possible you should take some time out to carefully plan how your stand will look and where you plan to put your pop up displays.

The graphics are the next issue when it comes to pop up displays. Colours have to be perfect. The shades of colours you use on your pop up displays is also important as they can have a big impact on the way your pitch will be received, if the colours are too dim it may evoke depressive feelings in a potential clients meaning they will have negative connotations about your business.
