Your teeth will then get a coating of primer and the composite used for the bonding, which ideally would be a mixture of a hybrid and a microfill composite. An LED light is then used to harden the composite material ensuring that both sides of the teeth are covered completely. The teeth are then contoured very carefully and hardened again periodically with the light.
To make the teeth blend in properly, excess composite is carefully removed. You will then be asked to check if your mouth shuts properly and the teeth are well-aligned. Then all the teeth are smoothed down both on the outside and the inside. A thin sandpaper strip is finally used between the teeth to make sure the gaps between the teeth are fine.
