Remodeling the Nissan NV200 into a Accessible Car

Currently there are many wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs) that you can buy. Every one of them supplies the driver or wheelchair user a slightly distinctive experience and deals with different needs. Despite the fact that some WAVs are good for some things and others for others, you can also get those WAVs which can be great all-rounders. Take the Nissan NV200, for example. Being a family car, it's ideal; it's got lots of space for storage which enables it to seat as many as seven people. But as a Disability Car, it's even more outstanding. This car can easily seat six people, including the driver and a wheelchair user. That makes it ideal for families who would like a practical car which also has room for a wheelchair. The Nissan NV200 is already a great people carrier, but when it has been converted into a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle, it can offer a whole lot more to a family out and about.

In transforming the Nissan NV200, technicians have been able to perform some remarkable things. It is not only offered in two different types, one of which features air con and a reversing camera as standard, it has recently been rated 'Best in Class' because of its CO2 emissions. That suggests you'll be investing in a WAV which can be perfect for wheelchair users, but can also be an excellent option for the environment too. At 53 miles to the gallon, the fuel economy of the NV200 is tough to match - especially if it's stacked up against other WAVs in its class. The transformation with this car has resulted in the inclusion of a four-point wheelchair securing method, to ensure that wheelchair users will always be protected when travelling in the vehicle. The positioning of this system in the conversion also means that these passengers are in the center of the vehicle. Eye line is important, it is therefore modified in a way that signifies the wheelchair user is constantly in full view of the windshield. And talking of windscreens, the NV200 even offers big, bright windows on all sides along with a high ceiling, to make the travel experience as light and roomy as is possible.

The Nissan NV200 has quickly become just about the most popular WAV conversions, and it's not difficult to see why. It offers a big assortment of high quality features and manages to strike a balance between comfort and functionality. If you're searching for a new Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle, you'd do very well to begin your search with this model.
