Crocs for the Winter Cold - Simply Add Some Fur

So Crocs made it bigtime with their distinct range of sandal-type shoes. Charming the youthful target audience of future buyers in a marketplace already saturated by major designer labels.

The attraction of the Crocs shoes is all in their simplicity as well as the design. The open design made them ideal for warm summer days, where the air ventilation holes allow a good amount of airflow on hot feet.

On top of that the shoes gave some protection from the perils of the great outdoors.

The only problem happened as soon as the mercury began to drop way down. The wonderful coolness of the shoes suddenly lost a bit of of its attraction when toes began to turn a darker shade of purple.

Certainly not happy to have their shoes consigned to the summer section and surfing shops, Crocs thought up a plan to hold on to their special design, while supplying the additional warmness needed by feet once the temperatures start heading south.

The solution was the synthetic fleece lining that appears very prominently in the Crocs Mammoth selection of clogs.

The fleece liner is nothing more than a single bit of synthetic fleece attached to the interior of the shoes. The rest of the shoe is identical to the regular model of the shoes, but just with the extra liner.

This really has to be one of the best solutions to this matter they could have thought of. The air vents remain, which offer more than enough airflow, which is so important for any shoe. A fleece lining gives the additional warmth that's needed to keep all of your ends comfy.

With that said these are no replacement for leather shoes inside the cold outdoors. The thin lining of fleece may give some protection against the weather, but they won't cut it when you're out in the cold for any length of time.

From a practical point of view you need to be aware if you buy a pair of Crocs with the fleece lining.

These shoes are exactly like the standard version of the shoes. The synthetic fleece takes up some of the space that would usually give some room in the shoes. When shopping for this particular style of Crocs shoes, make certain to get yourself a half size bigger in order to avoid buying a pair that's a bit too small. That wonderful warmth does need some space.

The option of a synthetic fleece liner is available for many of the Crocs shoe selection, which includes their shoes for the kids, boots and also women's footwear.

The Crocs Mammoth is regarded as the original cold weather Crocs footwear. Get hold of all of the little known details at our Crocs Mammoth site.
