VGA Cable: Connecting TV

The term VGA cable is short for "video graphics array." These types of cable feature 3 rows with fifteen pins per row. A VGA connector is often used in computer set ups. It was one of the first connectors to be featured in computers for connecting to monitors. These types of connectors are everywhere throughout the world now. It is a standard way to get output of what your computer is doing. When you type on your standard desktop computer, the output is siphoned through your computer, through the VGA connector, and into your monitor, where you can see it. This is obviously essential for being able to properly use a computer at all.
In modern times, there are also other kinds of VGA cable types. For example there are now "mini-VGA" types of ports that are used on devices like laptop computers. This is because of the nature of laptop computers. Everything has to be smaller on a laptop computer in order to fit all the different parts of the computer that are needed. If a laptop computer were to use a more standard VGA connector with a standard VGA port, then it might be too big. Just like with other parts on the computer, such as the hard drive, and the processor, the VGA port must sometimes be made smaller to fit.
This also means that a micro-VGA cable will often be more expensive than a VGA cable. Cables using VGA, just like all other kinds of cables are the kind of thing that you should definitely buy online rather than in the store. Sometimes the VGA connectors will be included with the produce you are buying for free. IN the case of computer monitors, the cable may even be directly connected to the monitor. It will be fused into the back of the computer monitor so you can't pull it off even if you tried, which you generally shouldn't.
But in the cases where the VGA cables are not included, and it's not fused to the back, it's a good idea to actually purchase the cable online. Many retail stores will mark up cables such as for VGA by up to three or four times. This is because of the convenience value. Many people don't want to go through the trouble of buying cables elsewhere, and in many cases you will need the cable in order to use the device. A little extra time spent will save money.
