Here are some fascinating trivia you might not know about coffee. Firstly, did you know that a coffee bean comes from a kind of tree that bears... cherry fruit! That's precise; the bean is the seed that is found within the cherry. In a good way, it's not so unimaginable because as coffee aficionados swear, the flavor of coffee is something equivalent to that of a delicious tart fruit, sweet, light and honey.
There is a delusion that says coffee was first learned by... surprise, surprise, a goat! In a way it is for the reason that according to the anecdote, a goat herder named Kalde, late in the 9th century, noticed something strange with his flock of goats when they are eating cherries. So mystified was he that he ate some himself and the rest is history. It appears plausible enough even if the account only came up late in the 16th century.
Unusually enough, light varieties of coffee bean is said to have more caffeine than its dark colored counterparts. The premise behind this is that since the dark coffee bean is cooked longer, a lot of caffeine is inexorably lost in the process. Speaking of coffee bean, espresso is not a distinct type of bean. To be clear about it, espresso is a type of drink. To be precise, it is a kind of coffee brewing concoction process. The wrong misnomer is due chiefly because some coffee products come out with espresso labels which led people to imagine the content is a kind of coffee bean.
When it comes to coffee mug, it is not the sole realm of porcelains. There are lots of other mugs around to be exact. Aside from porcelain, plastic and stainless steel are some of the most desired materials used for mugs. Mugs are at times more favored than porcelain cups because it can hold more and retains the heat of the coffee much longer. Porcelain cups however are more stylish and elegant, to say the least, so it is more used in public functions and important events.
Among the three most standard types of coffee mugs, the stainless steel kind is more favored by people on the go. What is the rationale behind it? It's quite uncomplicated; it's almost unbreakable and will last for a long time. The draw back is coffee tends to cool much faster in it. Then again, with a secured coffee lid, it evens out the probability. It is really up to you to decide which mug suites you best.
