The accessory has been around for many years to decorate and complement many different styles of clothing for both men and women. Accessories are a range of different items carried on your person; these items are things like jewellery, bags, hats, belts, watches, sunglasses, purses and scarves.

Accessories tend to go with most of your clothes that you wear, but you do tend to have more than one of the same accessory to mix and match on each of your different outfits you wear throughout the year. Having just the one pair of gloves, or one bag can limit your outfits for each different occasion you may be going out for. For instance, if you had one bag, it's not always suitable to take out on special occasions, and sometimes different sizes of bags will help you with your different outfits. That's why having two or three different shapes, size and material bags will enable you to accessorise easier than with just one bag. Wearing a ball gown with beach bag will completely ruin your image.

Accessories for different occasions are the one thing that women like to accessorise for. Beach wear, winter wear, summer wear and spring wear will all have a manner of different accessories that you add to your outfits. Then where you are going and the different occasions you plan to go to are other reasons to get different styled accessories to match with the occasion you are going to, whether it is a wedding, party or work.

With the help of unusual accessories, linking the occasion and seasonal needs for accessories can be made easier. Some accessories can be delicate and some can be more casual. There are those that are in between, and more often than not they are the ones that no one else has seen before and the ones that are unusual. Unusual accessories come from different designers, and they are not normally found on the high street, but found online and in unique shops.

Purses come in a lot of different sizes. Accessorise all occasions with a large shiny fabric or leather outside to pop under your arm when you go out at night. It can almost be used as a clutch bag. Or if clutch bags tickle your fancy, get a small dainty purse to store your goods for the dance floor.

Scarves and hats have become more of an accessory recently with the different patterns and materials to put around the neck. They can keep you warm in the colder months and the lighter materials can still be worn as a fashion statement when tied in a bow to the side.

When buying fashion accessories think about when and where you can wear them and if you can wear them for lots of occasions. That way you won't have one sitting in your wardrobe for a long time, and you can wear it over and over again. The more unusual, the more fashionable, and you will be able to get away with a lot of different seasons and occasions when you wear it.
