The Most Common Laptop Problems
by Sergio Fuentes(6)
There isn't anything electronic or mechanical in life is more helpful to us than a computer.(Although run-off-their-feet housewives reasonably argue for the microwave oven!) Computers aid us in virtually every aspect of contemporary life. In the home. At the office. Travelling.
However, ocassionally, without out taking into consideration the possibility we think it's not going to happen to us - it does. Your laptop stops working. This occurs more frequently than you'd think with laptops. As their ease of portability dictates that they will be exposed to more extreme conditions than a PC in the home.
This reality, like death and taxes, is a fact of life over which we have no control. It's inevitable that it IS going to happen. So it's a good idea know a little bit beforehand concerning what the issue might be. That is unless you are one of those rare Humans who actually think it's a hoot calling tech support.
Without regard for the fact it's so simple that it there's no reason to as much as bring it up - I'm going to. Because the simple is frequently the reality is the most easily overlooked. As a result of the conditioning of modern life we tend to try to find a huge not easily grasped issue. But in the case of computers in general, and laptops in particular, the most frequent reason it won't boot up - is a dead battery.
After assuring yourself that everything is tight in the area of the battery housing - ie- the casing is completely closed, therefore confirming that the contact points are touching the right locations, the next step is looking to figure out if your computer has some sort of locking.
Laptop makers commonly bundle in this feature, particularly on their lower-priced machines to protect against the machine being turned on accidently. Not enough Speed is another of the other often experienced portable issues. also that anti-virus utilities are not all created equal. Some guard against certain threats, while others don't. It's not truly a question of Quality, but instead a function of what the program was designed to spot.
Isn't it the truth that whenever you must have a product or service the most - at the point where it's absolutely mandatory for your program, that's the time you can't have it. In no scenario is this more true, or more infuriating than with computers. But the good news is that in the majority of situations lack of internet access can be corrected without having to call tech support.
Your problem solving will relate, naturally, to your system of connection. If you're on WIFI, head on over to the bottom right and right click on "network settings." This will tell you if something has been changed you didn't know about.
In the event that you're "wired" in the conventional manner, look out not only the obvious - to confirm if all the bits and pieces are joined together but also for any frayed connections. Should this produce no results I suggest to mull over the possibility that perhaps the problem is an interior cable break. This is a tech issue that crops up with regularity. The message here is that you should stay away from storing any type of electric/electronic cable coiled up.
