Husband Cheated, Now What Do You Do?

Has your husband cheated on you and now you are just devastated? Finding out that your spouse has had an affair is one of the most devastating things anyone can ever go through. You are racked with pain so much so that you don't know up from down, like your whole world just turned upside down and nothing seems real any more.

When I first found out that my husband cheated, I was beyond devastated. I was in so much pain that I didn't know what do to with myself. I felt like our own marriage was a lie and that nothing was real. I didn't trust anything he said or did and I didn't know if I ever could trust him again. Everything felt unreal and my self-esteem took a nose dive. Nothing I did seemed to make the pain go away.

If your husband cheated, then you probably feel a lot of the same things that I felt back then. If you and your spouse are trying to work things out, then please don't go it alone. Find a good counselor and for yourself find a form of support. Whether that be a local support group or finding support online via message boards, forums or email groups. You need to find others that have gone through what you are going through and gain strength through their support.

What really finally helped me heal after my husband cheated, is doing daily devotions. Getting close to God and hearing His wisdom every day, really helped my healing process. If you find daily devotions especially for the betrayed spouse, then those are even better because they will speak right to your heart and your situation.
