Hence write as though you're hoping to make friends with someone. Use positive and friendly language to give them a good impression about you.

The important thing is that once you start making an effort employers will realise this. You might have to rewrite the CV a few times to get the tone correct: striking a balance between being and friendly and professional isn't easy. But the effort will pay off.
