Selecting the Right High Heel Shoes

It's one thing to wear high heeled shoes, but it's just horrible to wear a poorly made pair of shoes. When I say poorly made I am not referring to the workmanship of the shoe, but rather the material used. If you haven't noticed there seems to be a lot of shoe brands emerging. All seem to be so reasonably priced and some would say all look great. But it's what the retailer doesn't tell you that concerns me and should concern you as well. You can purchase a pair of shoes for a great price, but what is the point if you will need to replace them in a few weeks or months. I've noticed great deception in this market with the way the manufacturers label their products or even better don't label them. I would suggest that you walk into a shoe store or better yet one of the shoe warehouses like DSW, Famous Footwear, etc.
Very few people know that when purchasing from these large footwear giants you can possibly be deceived into purchasing a look alike. Meaning that they may have the manufacturer create a similar shoe same color and style with much cheaper material. Everyone is looking for a bargain but I do believe the consumer should always know what they are purchasing. For example, you see a pair of sexy suede pumps but pay very close attention instead of suede it may really say suedy which is a man made material that many manufacturers use in their products.
If you don't pay close attention you can pay about the same price you would for a genuine pair of suede shoes. The most popular one I see used by the biggest shoe companies are the Leather Upper and no mention of what the insole/lining or sock are made of. 90 percent of the time if not mentioned the material used is PU (Poly) Synthetic Leather a man made material inferior to leather if you have a pair of shoes where the material is cracking and hurting your feet there's a big chance its PU. Examples of a few major companies that do this for example Steve Madden, Bakers, Aldo's and Nine West to name a few.
