Heb 10:25  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Reading  of the persecution of our brothers and sisters around the world I was disturbed and I had to repent. The torture they endure across the world is unspeakable. Our  afflictions in this country pale in comparison.  We can no longer sit in judgment on one another as the world attacks us from the outside. We must come together in love! Today, men and women dying for their faith because they sought to worship God. Today, across this country, we take the right to worship for granted.  Christians are being beaten and broken because they sneak out at night to worship the almighty . They worship against the law! They worship at risk of their lives! These people know the consequences of their actions; yet they press on toward the goal of organized worship. These people are willing to die for the right to gather together and sing hymns and pray. They die for their faith while we take our right to worship for
granted. Church fires around the country doesn't surprise us anymore.

Who are they? I do not know their names! They're not famous to anyone but God. As they walk dusty streets - there are no cameras to extol their sacrifices! They are on display before angels, apostles, and patriarchs of ages gone by! They have no majestic cathedral to display their ministerial abilities, but minister they do!

While we search for new teachers with new and improved revelations in
the word of God, and proudly join the mega churches with all the modern conveniences of the day; let us meditate on the people who have none! They have none and yet they go. While we look for the best church in the best neighborhood - we're on display as well. . The saints of all ages will one day stand to hear their names called. As we step up to hear what almighty God has to say about our lives will we be ashamed? Looking over those who have been martyred for his names sake? Will I feel comfortable or weep as I behold the reward of those who willingly walked through the fire into death just to serve the God I love.

The disciples met collectively in homes, most often secretly. Christians heard where the meeting would be held and came from all directions. We have churches on almost every corner and cannot convince many Christians that church attendance is important. Let us become a spectacle to heaven for the sake of those who die. In honor of the men and women who risk all to worship God – let us worship God
with all our heart while we have the right, in homes, parks, little churches, big churches and open spaces let us come together in love and worship the Lord who for Love gave His life on Calvary.
