Life Isn't Fair, But It's Still Good

I'd like to expand a little today on entry number one on my " always remember " list, which states that life isn't fair but it's still good.

It's funny ... I am constantly hearing the " it's not fair! " statement from my young children, and I try to handle it in a fatherly way by explaing to them life isn't always fair, yet I sometimes find myself feeling the same way.

In the adult world, it may stem from getting laid-off or passed up for a promotion, seeing some one who is always in shape even though they eat fast food every day, or simply shaking one's head as the aggravating, irresponsible neighbor drives up their driveway in the new car you can never seem to afford.

Sometimes, it seems that life just isn't fair! But you know what? Life can be incredibly good if you're conciously looking for the good in life on a daily basis.

And even better - if you purposely try to give more good in every situation that arises in your life, the universe has a way of returning that good back to you in multiples.

This is called the Law of Reciprocity, and it works every time . So, if you want more good in your life, give more good and you will in turn get what you desire. This is something you have total control over, and best of all ...
