It's real easy for us in the United States to sit back in our comfortable chairs and forget about all the violence that is going on in Iran. There is a civil war occuring with people desperately struggling to find freedom from the despotic tyranny of Islamic theocracy. A dictatorship that is so ruthless it is mowing its own people down in the name of Allah!
The ruthless victimization of protesters in Iran are not isolated events. These are ongoing, targeted and intentional efforts by the government to crush the attempts by the people of that oppressed nation from expressing their intent to find a more democratic form of government. In the United States we may do so, without fear of reprisal. In Iran... you get shot down in the streets, you disappear, or you get ran over by the police.
