Wedding Favors So Many Choices So Please Do Not Wait

Wedding favors are one of the last things a couple thinks about when getting ready for a wedding. This can cause a lot of stress for bride and groom alike. Being that it is the last thing, it can be a little over whelming. The groom is ready to say yes to anything and the bride wants it all to be perfect.

It is a lot to choose from, let us start with colors. Sounds simple enough but now is when a couple to be, finds out how many different colors are really out there. Okay really it's only the groom who is informed that red, black, blue, green, and their favorite football team colors are not the only colors to choose from. Pink is not fuchsia and fuchsia is not red, very confusing.

These are a few things to keep in mind when selecting a color for your wedding favors. The time of year for your wedding is has a lot to do with colors you choose. For summer weddings all colors are in play. With a fall wedding a couple can play with orange and pumpkin ideas splashed with some seasonal brown. When you get to winter light, warm colors are the norm. Spring more colors are back in play, depending on your religion you are a part of. So be careful do not want to offend anyone.

The location of your wedding and reception also drives your color selection. A couple does not want to have red favor boxes if the hall already has red table cloths or chair covers, too much! So set the hall and hall decorations before entering the world of favors.

Next is style of wedding favors you and yours would like. Do you want your favors to hold candy, be a thank you fan, or a picture frame with your picture? Small picture frames can be used as table assignments as well. These questions are sometimes answered by your budget. Most favors hold candy; so if you choose your favors to hold candy your options are endless. A box with a flip top, two part box with a base and top, or a sliding box. Boxes with sight windows or a box with a ribbon tied around it. A ribbon can be a nice touch, as well as very useful. The ribbon can keep the box closed or hold a small "Thank You" card. Favor boxes don't have to be boxes at all. Small gift bags are also used; along with miniature feed bags, and miniature cowboy hats. All choices are very acceptable.

Wedding favors are also used to help set the theme of your wedding day. Having a beach wedding? Sea side favor boxes, sea and beach styled candle holders and picture frames, help to enhance this theme. The two most important things in choosing wedding favors are. Fit the personality of the couple, and do not wait until the last minute to decide. Get it done early.

Wedding favors are a fun addition to any wedding. Favors include many different options with colors and styles. Start early and take your time to choose the right favors for you and yours.

A gift/keepsake for the guests is a great idea, something I'd not thought about before, but could be rather pricey. I like your suggestion of a thank you for coming or sharing in our day card. Things are a lot different than when I married 33 years ago!

Thank You for reading my article. It can but if you think about the fact you might decorate the tables anyway, might as well decorate with somethig guests to take home.
