When Boringsville Turned Into Excitingsville

Once upon a time, many, many years ago, there was a tiny town in Jupiter called Boringsville. Nothing much happened in this town and everything was pretty much the same day after day after day after day. Everyone knew everyone and everyone knew what everyone was doing.

Things were boringly predictible and there was never much change in Boringsville.

One day, however, something a little exciting had happened in Boringsville, Jupiter. The Pink Green and Brown family were patiently waiting for a bus at the bus station. The driver, Mr. What's His Name, happily stepped out of his bus to greet the people that were going onto his bus.

Suddenly, for no reason, Mr. and Mrs. Green stopped short and panicked. Mr. Brown was also afraid and yelled out, "An anteater is driving your bus away, Mr. What's His Name! Hurry, let's save your bus!"

"What? Oh, my goodness, gracious," Mr. What's His Name sighed.

And it was true. The anteater had driven Mr. What's His Name's bus way out of sight and out of sight. Because the anteater was too fast the bus couldn't be saved but all of a sudden all the blah pepole of Boringsville felt alive. Everyone stared at each other in amazement and for the first time ever something different and exciting had happened in Boringsville.

The headlines on the newspaper finally had different news and all the townspeople were talking and wondering about this new event. The town had finally come alive thanks to the anteater.

And that's how Boringsville became Excitingsville.

The message here could be that not everything seems like it is and sometimes cool things happen from things that seem not so good. Only I hope I never meet an anteater, do you?

You must be pulling our legs you can't be nine years old. Surely, this writing is amazing. I wish I could have wrote this well at nine, I was terrible at your age.

However, I have one little suggestion take away the words "the end" from the end of the article as any good article (yours included) should not need that as it is obvious that it is indeed the end by the way it is written.

Brilliant article.

Like Connor said, you must be pulling our legs. There's no way that you're only 9. I like the comic effects you scattered around in the story.

Hi, young lady. This is a wild and wooly story. Someday I must vist Excitingville as it gets pretty boring here watching sea gulls chase ocean spray. Be sure and come see us again, Red.
