The Secret of Replacing a Circuit Breaker

Circuit breakers are used for interrupting the power to a circuit and for protecting your wiring. If your circuit bicker is still tripping, then follow the instructions on how to fix it. The procedure is of moderately easy difficult level.
After you have determined that there is a problem, then you have to plug a radio into an outlet on the circuit that you are dealing with. Be sure to turn on the volume and to be able to hear it when it comes on. Locate your panel box, it is usually positioned in the basement or in the utility room. If it is possible you have to turn off the main power.
On most panel boxes there is an on/off switch. Press the tripped breaker toward ‘off’ to reset it and after that turn it to ‘on’. If it trips immediately you may have a bad breaker or there is a short somewhere on the circuit.
The thing that you have to do is to purchase a circuit breaker from the hardware store. Remove the panel cover from the panel box by unscrewing the face plate. Keep in mind that the two sides of the beaker are feeding into the side. You have to remember which one is into which position. Loosen the screw that holds the white wire first just to get the wire out.
Put a wire nut on the end of the white wire and bend it on the other way. Loosen the other screw and do the same thing with the colored wire. Pull out the old circuit breaker and snap a new one into place.
Replace the wires on the same position as they are on the old beaker first the colored one and after that the white one. After that tighten the screws that hold the wires. Next, replace the face plate. If needed, turn the power on the panel on.
The last step is to turn the beaker on. Then you have to hear your radio. In case it trips call a technician because you have a potentially dangerous short circuit. Replace the beaker with units from the same amperage, by overriding the same feature.
The things that you will need are wire nuts, circuit breakers, radios, and screwdriver sets
